Nova Twins @ All Points East
We were lucky enough to catch up with rocker duo Nova Twins ahead of their highly anticipated set at All Points East.
Latch: As a festival, what does All Points East mean to you guys?
Georgia South: Yeah, I mean, being from London, it's great to have a festival like this in our hometown. It's our first time here, and we happen to have so many friends playing this day, so it just feels like a little summer reunion. We've been in the States all summer, so it's nice to come back today and be able to see everyone again, and so it's been really nice.
Latch: For those American dates, how was it to go across the pond and play to new audiences?
Amy Love: Oh, that was incredible. We were playing with Evanescence and Spiritbox. It was incredible. Two months out there, playing to like-minded people, an audience, and it was a proper woman-empowering lineup. It was incredible. And we're going back out with Evanescence for Europe, mid-September till the beginning of October.
Latch: If you guys were to headline All Points East and were to curate your own day, who would be on the bill?
Georgia South: We'd have... We'd have, who would we have? Would we love? We'd have Spiritbox, obviously. A lot of girl power on the bill. We could chuck in some old-school people, like Missy Elliott in there.
Amy Love: Get Missy Elliot and Screw Skrillex to do like a little duet.
Georgia South: Kid Kapichi, our friends that are playing today. We have them on there. The Warning would be incredible. Obviously, Evanescence would be there too. Like, I mean, there are so many amazing bands.
Latch: And for your set today, are there any surprises you've got lined up? What can we expect?
Georgia South: We're gonna bring some energy.
Amy Love: I know, it's like, we are the surprise.
Georgia South: It's probably one of the longest sets that we played this year. We're playing so many half an hour sets. So for us, it's a surprise playing about three more songs than we've been doing on the support tour, so that'll be nice.
