Latch is a new independent publication focused on music, culture, and the stories that sit around live spaces, artists, and creative work. We care about strong writing, thoughtful photography, and coverage that feels deliberate rather than rushed out for the sake of noise.

From live reviews and interviews to features, photography, and editorial pieces, Latch exists to document artists, scenes, and moments in a way that feels considered and worth spending time with. We’re interested in the work itself, but also the atmosphere around it, the people behind it, and the details that often get missed when coverage is treated like content for content’s sake.
How We Work
While Latch is new, the people behind it aren’t new to this world. The publication has been built with experience across live coverage, editorial, and music media, with the aim of creating something more streamlined, more thoughtful, and more sustainable from the start. We’re not trying to publish the loudest or the fastest. We want to put out work that is well made, visually strong, and properly considered. We value thoughtful coverage, good photography, clear editorial standards, and work that earns its place.
Where We’re Headed
We’re starting small, keeping things focused, and building carefully. As Latch grows, the intention is to keep that same clarity of purpose intact: good work, made properly, with room to evolve without losing the point of it. For now, that means putting the work first and letting the publication grow at the right pace.
